RazGryphon (Gryphon/Griffin Avatar base for VrChat)

This is the RazGryphon, a Gryphon/Griffin avatar base created by me, Razra! This model is customizable with different body shapes, many beak shapes, plantigrade and digitigrade option and expressions so you can make it uniquely you with ease. The avatar is ready to upload to VRChat for PC and while it can be used on Quest it will of course lack any features that the Quest its self does not support.

This avatar contains many customization features including:

• 20 bird beak presets, with 20 more beak blenshapes to shape them in any way you would like.
• Wings with puppet controllers to move them, there is also a basic built in fly system.
• Plantigrade and Digitigrade paws. Also have a Talons versions!
• Toes and tail Puppet controllers and floor collision with a fail-safe for those that use play space moving below the floor.
• Male, Female and Buff version togglable in game.
• All the required Viseme shapekeys
• MMD world compatible!
• Face tracking prefab included ready to add to the avatar.
• 20 Custom gesture expressions!
• Many base textures to choose from:
  5 Body textures (BlueJay, Lion, Snow leopard, Sharp Red, Fluffy Gray)
  7 Eyes textures
  4 Fur Textures
  4 Wings & Feathers Textures

Substance Painter and Photoshop Files are included!

Avatar Requirements for use with VRChat:

• A valid VRChat account ranked ‘New User’ or higher to be able to upload an avatar, note that Steam, Oculus and Viveport based logins do not have the ability to gain rank or upload content!

Quick Start Guide (HOW TO INSTALL):

1. Download VRChat Creator Companion and follow the install instructions available here: https://vcc.docs.vrchat.com/guides/getting-started Or download it directly here: https://vrchat.com/download/vcc
2. Download VRCFury here: https://vrcfury.com/download/ (Use the method 1 for VRChat creator companion)
   Download Poiyomi here: https://poiyomi.github.io/vpm/ (Click the button "Add to VCC")
3. Create a new 2022 Avatar project in VRChat Creator Companion
   Go into manage project and click the + button to add VRCFury and Poiyomi to your project.
4. Open the Project and import the RazGryphon.unitypackage into the scene, its VERY important that this one is imported AFTER the Poiyomi and VRCFury has been added to the project trough VCC or the project will be in a broken state.
5. Open the RazGryphon folder within the ‘Assets’ section of Unity at the bottom of the window and open/double click the ‘!CLICK ME RazGryphon’ scene.
6. Sign into the VRChat SDK, select the avatar you would like to upload and upload it, if you need help with how to upload an avatar check this link: https://docs.vrchat.com/docs/creating-your-first-avatar#step-6---uploading-the-avatar

Technical Information:

• Substance Painter Files created using version: 9.1.2 (2023)
• VRChat performance ranking of Medium.
• 11 Physbones comprised of the ears, tail, toes and Wings! As well as a flight system, floor colliders and a even a headpat/blush mechanism.
• 3 skinned mesh renderer
• 54174 Triangles for a ‘Good’ performance rank on its own, the Body is (43834), Feathers (1542), Wings(7508), Hair (678), Bird Tail (612)

• Quest version rank of ‘very poor’ with downgraded textures quality.
  The quest version also has less physbones component and the flight toggle is disabled due to the limitations imposed on Quest avatars.

• The RazGryphon UnityPackage containing the rigged and ready to upload version of the avatar for PC VRChat
• Substance Painter texture files, also included are Photoshop compatible PSD files exported from Substance Painter.
• Blender file for the project its self.
• A Quest UnityPackage that fits within the limitations of the current (02/2024) Quest avatar limitations (ranked very poor).

Terms of Services:

You are allowed to:

• Use the purchased RazGryphon assets for VRChat and modify the project for the purpose of use within other applications or games such as Beatsabers, ChilloutVR or also use as a ‘VTuber’ streaming avatar so long as the program/game in question allows such content and modification within its own terms of service and the use is not primarily for financial gain derived from the likeness of the RazGryphon assets themselves.
• Edit this model for personal uses other than for its use in any illegal activities or uses primarily designed to marginalize, abuse, harass, impersonate or promote racism, bigotry, or hatred of any kind.
• Sell edits or take commissions on this avatars as long as both you and the client are confirmed to own a copy of the RazGryphon assets.
• Sell accessories you created for the avatar so long as none of the RazGryphon asset files assets themselves are provided with the accessory except partial rigging.
• Commission a texture Artist to make a custom texture of this avatar, you can share the "Texture Edit" folder with the artist without them being required to buy the model, note: The "Texture Edit" folder contain the substance painter files, and photoshop files! If you are an Artist taking multiple textures commissions of this avatar, it would be appreciated but not required that you buy a copy too!
• Publicly upload this avatar on VRChat as long as you keep the credits that are inside the avatar and adhere to all other agreements within these terms.
• You can share modified assets freely so long as both parties own the RazGryphon assets.

You are not allowed to:

• Remove the credits inside the avatar or upload the avatar for shared public use on any platform.
• Share the RazGryphon files or any of the assets within with anyone that does not already own a copy of the RazGryphon asset, this include the unity package, FBX files, Blender Files. As a note there is one exception to this restriction and that is you may share the "Texture Edit" folder with a texture artist for the purpose of obtaining a custom texture for your personal use.
• Resell or otherwise redistribute the RazGryphon asset pack or any of the downloadable content (even if they are modified), either directly or as part of another asset without my direct written consent other than the exceptions laid out previously related to the contents of the “Texture Edit” folder under the previously outlined exceptions.
• Take personal credit for the avatar in any way.
• To use this avatar for commercial purposes.
• You are not allowed to use this avatar for any form of racism, hate speech, homophobia or illegal / inappropriate acts.
• You are not allowed to use this avatar for any form of cryptocurrency, blockchain, NFT or AI training.
• You may not assume any lack of expressed restriction as a permission for use, if at all in doubt, please DO contact me for any uses not expressly allowed or restricted.

By purchasing this model you understand and agree that:

• This Product is not refundable. Do to it being a digital product.
