RazCanine (Avatar base for VRChat)

This is the RazCanine, a canine avatar base created by me, Razra! This model is customizable with different body shapes. It comes with Plantigrade and Digitigrade paws. And it got many more blendshapes so you can make it uniquely you with ease. The avatar is ready to upload to VRChat for PC and while it can be used on Quest it will, of course lack any features that the Quest itself does not support.

This avatar contains many features and customization:

• Face tracking prefab included ready to add to the avatar with a simple click!
• Male, Female and Buff blendshape
• Plantigrade and Digitigrade paws.
• Toes and Tail Puppet controllers and floor collision with a fail-safe for those that use play space moving below the floor.
• All the required Viseme shapekeys
• MMD world compatible!
• 20 Custom gesture expressions!
• 3 Main base texture to choose from
• Idle ear and whisker flick animation
• Ears move based on eyes movement for face tracking as well as with head rotation.
• Automatic blush when you point your fingers together.
• Default hairstyle and tail can be seamlessly removed to be replaced by one of your choosing if you want.

Substance Painter and Photoshop Files are included and set up with layers to make it easier to have your own fursona pattern!

Requirements to upload to VRChat:

• A valid VRChat account ranked ‘New User’ or higher to be able to upload an avatar, note that Steam, Oculus and Viveport based logins do not have the ability to gain rank or upload content!

Quick Start Guide (HOW TO INSTALL):

1. Download VRChat Creator Companion https://vrchat.com/download/vcc and follow the install instructions available here: https://vcc.docs.vrchat.com/guides/getting-started
2. Download VRCFury here: https://vrcfury.com/download/ (Use the method 1 for VRChat creator companion)
3. Download Poiyomi Toon Shader here: https://poiyomi.github.io/vpm/ (Click the button "Add to VCC")
4. Create a new 2022 Avatar project in VRChat Creator Companion
   Go into manage project and click the + button to add VRCFury and Poiyomi to your project.
5. Open the Project and import the RazCanine.unitypackage into the scene, its VERY important that this one is imported AFTER Poiyomi and VRCFury has been added to the project trough VCC or the project will be in a broken state.
6. Open the RazCanine folder and open the RazCanine scene.
7. Sign into the VRChat SDK, select the avatar you would like to upload and upload it

Technical Information:

• Substance Painter Files created using version: 9.1.2 (2023)
• VRChat performance ranking of Medium.
• 15 Physbones comprised of the ears, tail, toes, nose, whiskers and the funny parts that would censor this page if I write them down haha.
• 1 skinned mesh renderer (2 if you use the Long Hair)
• 49664 Triangles, the Body is (47988) and the long hair is (1656)
• PC: Medium performance ranking because of the number of physbones.

• Quest version: rank of ‘very poor’ with downgraded textures quality.

• Substance Painter files, also included are Photoshop compatible PSD files exported from Substance Painter.

Terms of Services:

You are allowed to:

• Use the avatar on other platform for yourself.
• Edit this model for personal uses or create and sell assets and modification as long as both parties own a copy of the avatar.
• Sell edits or take commissions of this avatars as long as both you and the client are confirmed to own a copy of the avatar.
• Sell accessories you created for the avatar so long as none of the model and asset files themselves are provided with the accessory except partial rigging.
• You are allowed to share the Substance Painter and Photoshop files to commission a texture Artist to make a custom texture of this avatar for you without them being required to buy the model.
• Publicly upload this avatar on VRChat as long as you keep the credits that are inside the avatar and adhere to all other agreements within these terms.
• You can share modified assets freely so long as both parties own this product.

You are not allowed to:

• Remove the credits inside the avatar if you upload a public version of it.
• You are not allowed to resell or otherwise redistribute this product's asset pack or any of the downloadable content.
• You are not allowed to share any files to anyone not owning this product themselves (Except for the Substance Painter and Photoshop files to commission and texture artist for you.)
• Take personal credit for the avatar in any way.
• To use this avatar for commercial purposes (talk to me first).
• You are not allowed to use this avatar for any form of racism, hate speech, homophobia or illegal / inappropriate acts.
• You are not allowed to use this avatar for any form of cryptocurrency, blockchain, NFT or AI training.
• If at all in doubt, please DO contact me for any uses not expressly allowed or restricted.
